SPEAKING
I speak about storytelling, positioning and AI, for audiences who are brilliant at their work and want the words for it.
You get one idea, told well enough that your audience repeats it.

On stage at LinkedIn with People Like Us, September 2026.
TALKS
Every talk is tailored to your audience. These are the threads I pull on most.
01
Most senior people built the shop and stocked it, then left their CV in the window. On why public profiles fall behind the work, and how to fill the window with what's next.
02
Visibility without posting every day before breakfast. Reach and reputation are two different jobs, and my most-read post ever (206,495 impressions, 0 clients) is the proof.
03
What stays human when anyone can generate words: noticing the throwaway line, finding the thread, and still sounding like yourself.
01
Keynotes. One idea for a conference, a company-wide event or a calendar moment like International Women's Day.
02
Lunchtime workshops. 60 to 90 minutes on storytelling for a team or network, in person or online. A simple way to try the work before committing to anything bigger.
03
Panels and conversations. As a panellist, in a fireside chat, or moderating and asking the questions.
04
Leadership sessions. Longer storytelling sessions and programmes for leadership teams.

The Marketing Meetup
Live sessions, in conversation with James Sandbrook

"The way someone turns up and the energy they bring to our talks is half the job, and Vivi was fantastic. She came with genuine knowledge, generosity and humility. The community loved her and I can't wait to have her back again."
James Sandbrook, Co-founder of The Marketing Meetup
I'm Vivi Koroma Kala. I've spent 16 years in marketing, 5 of them growing the Squiggly Careers podcast from 100,000 downloads to 5.6 million, across 411 episodes.
These days I help senior people find and tell the story of their work, through Your Story Edit and leadership sessions for organisations. What I bring to a stage is the same thing I bring to a 1-to-1: noticing the throwaway line, and pulling on it until there's a story an audience can take home.
I'm based in London and speak in person and online.
